He is the Director of the Planning Area-Sao Paulo State Secretary of Health. Mr. Felicissimo has responsibilities in the implementation of Brazil's new health care system at the state level, particularly in project management issues (funding and administration). Prior to his present position, he worked for government agencies as Regional Hospital Director and State Coordinator for Health Promotion.

Mr. Felicissimo holds a Diploma de Medico (1970) from the Escola Paulista de Medecina in Sao Paulo and Master's degree in Business Administration with concentration in hospital administration and health systems 1988) from the Escola de Administracao de Empresas de Sao Paulo

    He is General Manager of Audit Services Corporation the largest and only government owned audit firm in Ethiopia. It is responsible for auditing and providing advising services to over 200 enterprises including Ethiopian Airlines Ethiopian Shipping Lines, and many other large state owned enterprises.

    Mr. Gashe holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting (1968) from Addis Ababa University. He also took courses in law from September 1971 through February 1974 from the same university.

      As a Production Manager of Bonair Knitwear Limned, one of Mauritius' largest textile export companies, Mr. Goreeba is responsible for managing a workforce of about 1700 production workers. He also holds a teaching position at the University of Mauritius where he lectures in the field of production and operations management.

      Mr. Goreeba holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Production Engineering (1983) from Leeds Polytechnic and received a Certificate in Textile Technology (September-December (1986) under the UNIDO-Belgium Government Fellowship Program.

        Mr. Khwaja was Director of the Weaker Sections Housing Program and Managing Director of the Andhra Pradesh State Housing Corporation of India. During his career he has worked mostly in the area of planning and implementing socio-economic growth programs directed towards the underprivileged sections in society. He also has considerable experience in disaster management being exposed to three natural calamities between 1977 and 1989.

        Mr. Khwaja holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in History (1974) from the University of Delhi, New Delhi and a Master's of Arts degree in History (1978) from the Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh.

          Mr. Lawrence is the Executive Director of the Department of Information at the National Centre for Planning and Management Development, the central management consulting agency in Iraq. His main responsibilities include setting objectives, policies, plans and programs for management development in the areas of information and office automation and monitoring the implementation and follow up of the plans.

          Mr. Lawrence holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (1972) from Al Hikma University in Baghdad and a Master of Public Administration degree (1984) from The Pennsylvania State University.

            He is a Business Manager at Pakistan Oxygen Limited in Karachi, one of Pakistan's major private sector enterprises. He had general management responsibility for a business division which included the functions of marketing, manufacturing, sales, inventory and project management.

            Mr. Rizvi holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree (1978) from the N.E.D University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (1980) from the University of Kentucky, Lexington.

              He is a sociologist and is currently Director of the Center for Applied Community Studies (CECA), a non profit organization financially supported by Inter-American foundation of the United States involved in the development of programs for popular participation. He is responsible for designing and coordinating the "Program for Popular Participation" of the government's National Plan for Development. He is particularly interested in the relations between the training of the underprivileged population and its capacity to solve its own problems and to satisfy its prime necessities.

              Mr. Samper holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology (1972) from the Universidad Javeriana and a Certificate in Strategic Planning (1986) from Northern Illinois University. He also undertook studies in economics at the Universidad de los Andes from 1973 to1976.

                Mr. Somasundaram is the District Medical Officer for the Chavakachcheri District in the northern Sri Lanka peninsula. He supervises the public health needs of a population of about 125,000 and has responsibilities in the areas of public health administration, hospital management, patient care, medical-legal duties, health education, training programs for Para-medical staff, and health system surveys and research.

                Mr. Somasundaram holds the degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (1973) from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

                  Dr. Sutthiwisessak is Director of Khemaraj Hospital which serves rural people in the north east province of Ubonrajthanee. He is responsible for the administration of the hospital budget and 88 personnel; training, planning, implementation and evaluation of health programs; and promoting village' health volunteers to work toward improving the health of their people.

                  Dr. Sutthiwisessak holds a Doctor in Medicine degree (l981) from Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand and a Certificate of Proficiency in General Practice (1985) from the Thai Medical Council, the highest degree held by a doctor in Thailand.

                      Ms. Hahn is a sociologist employed with the Public Administration Development Foundation (Fund ad) an agency which provides policy analysis and research support for public sector projects in her country. She has represented her government at international meetings in France, the U.S., and Former Yugoslavia, principally in areas of enhancing technical cooperation between developing countries. She has BA and BS degrees in Sociology, as well as an M. Sc in Sociology of Science from the University of Sao Paulo and has been a manager of public projects for the last five years.

He received his engineering degree in 1969, had a specialization in telecommunications in Italy in 1971-1972 and since then has taken several courses in the administration and management areas.

She has been working for sixteen years as Senior Architect for the Division of Technical Services of the Ministry o( Health, Social Welfare and Insurance of Greece, which is a central office for planning all health and social welfare buildings of Greece.

                                    He is an engineer whose work has been in chemical and plastics industries in his country; his current employment is in the Shanghai Engineering Plastics and Chemical Company and the Shanghai General Electric Plastics Service Center. Previously he worked for the central government in Beijing. This industry is one targeted by the People's Republic for expansion. Mr. Li graduated from East China Chemical University in 1967 and is studying management and chemical engineering in his Humphrey year.

                                      He is a plant Engineer at Ferrari Ghezzi Limited, one of Bolivia's main food processers, where he is responsible for production planning and control, mechanical maintenance and operations research. Ferrari Ghezzi's main plant is located in an important mining area of the Bolivian Altiplano, and it plans to expand and open new plants in other areas of Bolivia.

                                        Ms. Bostwick of the Bahamas is a Personnel Manager for the National Insurance Board in Nassau with responsibilities to supervise, educate and train a staff of approximately 330 people, coordinate Social events, and serves liaison between the National Insurance Board and other related organizations. Ms. Bostwick is a member of the American Management Association, Director of the National Insurance Board's choir, and coordinator within the Board.
