Associate Professor Bonnie Keeler and alumnus Nfamara Dampha (MDP ‘17/PhD NRSM ‘20), a researcher at the Institute on the Environment, have been selected as authors for the first ever National Nature Assessment (NNA1), which was established by the U.S. Global Change Research Program. 

Over the next two years, the authors will take stock of U.S. lands, waters, and wildlife, and the benefits they provide to our economy, health, climate, environmental justice, and national security.
