Bishara Mohamed is the civic engagement manager at Reviving the Islamic Sisterhood for Empowerment, focused on amplifying the voice and power of Muslim women in Minnesota. Prior to that Bishara worked with Peace Direct, a charity that supports grassroots peacebuilders across the globe. She also previously worked at the Green String Network, a nonprofit organization that brings together professionals and experts in peacebuilding, trauma healing, and sustainable economic development. Bishara holds a master's degree from the University of Notre Dame in global affairs specializing in international peacebuilding. Bishara also holds another master’s degree in clinical psychology from the United States International University-Africa.
