Dominique Murray was born in Chicago, Ill. and spent her early childhood years on the city's west side. During adolescence her family relocated to Minnesota, and east St. Paul became their new home. Currently, Dominique is a state program administrator at Minnesota Management & Budget, overseeing the state’s local government pay equity program for over 1,500 government entities, and thousands of employees. Dominique works with local government officials, administrators, and governing bodies to correct compensation inequities for female employees. Dominique also helps carry out the important work of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in her workplace. Outside of work Dominique wears many hats, she is a woman of faith, a mother, a relative to many, a friend, and a helping hand. During her free time, she enjoys performing arts events, exploring nature, and trying new food.
